About the Program
ESMOD Dubai, in partnership with Tamkeen, will be offering a comprehensive Fashion Program tailored for 30 Bahraini fashion designers interested in creating a fashion brand. ESMOD, a leading fashion design school with locations in Paris, Tokyo, and Dubai, is part of the renowned ESMOD International Fashion Schools network. Known for excellence in fashion education, ESMOD Dubai will be offering a diverse program focusing on fashion design, pattern making, fashion marketing, and other related fields for participants at various professional stages.
The program will run for approximately 19 months that will include a series of workshops and mentorship sessions to follow up on the progress of fashion designers in the development of their collection.

Program eligibility
- The designers must be Bahraini nationals
- The designer’s age must be at least 18 years and above.
- The applicant must have a fashion background or certification.
- The designer’s years of experience in the field should not exceed 5 years.
- Virtual CR or conventional CR holder, should not be older than 5 years
- The applicant must possess basic background on sketching, sewing and designing.
- The applicant must be willing to receive feedback and advise on enhancing their collections.
- The Applicant must be able to commit to the program in terms of attendance and delivery. See dropout clause link
- Final collection must be original and not stolen from other designers.
- Every applicant needs to have a fashion design portfolio which includes drawings / sketches / illustrations done by themselves, fabric swatches, photos of garments and artwork, the portfolio should not be longer than 10 pages in a single pdf file.
- Designers must be fluent in English as the course is delivered by international English-speaking experts.
